| As many of you know Brooke was born with biliary atresia and is in the process of an evaluation for a liver transplant. This site is created to keep family, friends and those touched by little Brooke's condition up to date. I will post pre-transplant, post transplant and her life after her new liver as often as I have information! Thank you for your love, prayers and support. As of October 9th, 2008, Brooke has received a beautiful gift from her aunt, Jessica Wallace. Jessica saved Brooke's life by giviing her part of her liver! Brooke and Jessica are doing really good! Words can not begin to describe the gratitude we feel towards Jessica and this amazing gift she has given our family! We love you, Jes!!! When Bo and I found out that we were going to be parents for the third time we were both shocked and blessed! We thought we were done, obviously God had other plans! February 27th was the day that would change our lives forever! When a mother gives birth she thinks that the rest is a piece of cake all you have to do is keep them healthy and happy. Not true. There are things that happen that you can not control. What happened to my daughter is still a medical mystery. Although we do not understand and know why things happen, we have to put our faith and trust in God and know he knows best and is in control. He brought Brooke into this world for a reason and I pray each and every day, His will be done in her life!
